Mr. Richard Newark joined Pentadyne in February 2007 as Chief Operating Officer with more than 27 years of operations experience in Six Sigma quality and lean manufacturing processes, new product launches, product development, organizational development and continuous improvement

Prior to joining Pentadyne, Mr. Newark most recently managed the turnaround of U.S. operations at Wolverine Advanced Materials, a global supplier of vibration damping and sealing materials for automotive, consumer electronics and industrial markets. Prior to Wolverine, Mr. Newark instituted lean manufacturing systems to produce high-volume (more than 1,600 per day) automotive transmissions in a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and ZF Friedrichshafen, AG. He also served as Chief Product Engineer and Shop Operations Director at Cummins Engine Company where he launched new engine programs as well as developed new manufacturing processes and systems to meet customer requirements, producing more than 200 engines per day in high-volume, lean manufacturing facilities.

Mr. Newark earned his MBA and a BS in mechanical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
